Steven King Novel Review

One of the most recognizable names in the horror genre, is the "King of Horror," Steven King. King has written over fifty best selling horror and fantasy novels.

Here is what readers had to say about his novels, both new and old:

Steven King's Latest Novels:

Duma Key (2008)
"I was really pleased with this latest effort. It was King's best in years. A truly creepy novel filled with the rich characters his fans have come to expect. If you are a King fan you will want to have this in your library."

Cell (2006)
"Cell is a journey into the frailties and strengths of what makes us human. It is also a return to King's greatest strengths as a writer, the complex relationships between us as humans. It is also a return to King's greatest strengths as a writer, the complex relationships between us as humans."

The Colorado Kid ((2005)
"The Colorado Kid is a finely rendered mystery with a gently philosophical touch that, incidentally, contains some of King's best writing. Yes, even this late in the day, The Man is still The Man."

King’s Earlier Novels:

The Shining (1977)
"We are looking at dated horror from the seventies that's not exactly cutting edge. But it’s inoffensive and fun. I guess I’d recommend it to people who have read it before and forgotten it, or want to have a look at the genre or the early work of King."

The Stand (1978)
"A big easy to read novel you can sink your teeth into . Even non-King fans might enjoy this one—it’s less horror than some of his others and has interesting social commentary. "

The Dead Zone (1979)
"King fans and even non King fans, who are looking to see what the fuss is about King should read this one. While it isn't exactly his standard work, it is a good example of his versatility and writing abilities."
